Just talk…
This weekend we ran an intensive video training bootcamp right here at the Museum Tower – which made life easier for us and more pleasant for our students.
A few weeks ago, we talked about ‘how to narrate’ a piece.
As you know, I am a great fan of ‘not scriptwriting’ but rather of storytelling.
And the easiest way to tell a great story is just to tell it – while watching the pictures that are going to drive your story.
Of course, MacBooks have microphones, but they are about as big as this:Â O
You can get much better audio on direct narration to timeline with the simple addition of a USB Microphone, like the one bootcamp student Shaheen Meghji is using above.
This one is made by M Audio and it costs about $100.
Just plug it into your USB port and start talking.
Here’s a pretty good review from PC Magazine.
