Taken with my iPhone.. needless to say, not the Hasselblad
My wife just surprised me with my birthday present – a new Hasselblad H4D digital camera.
It is quite literally the best camera in the world. It gets a breathtaking (and somewhat mind-boggling) 40 megapixels (50 apparently at certain settings according to the instruction manual, which I have just started to peruse).
Apparently I have to wait 12 hours for the battery to charge, but soon I will be uploading photos of such astonishing resolution that it may take an hour just to complete the upload.
Delighted.

Adam took the words out of my mouth!
So…does it shoot video too?

Only stills.
40mpls.. 50 at some ISO settings.
Resolution is unbelieveable.
They make one that gets 60 mpls but that’s just insane.
I used to have the 500 C/M a long time ago – film Hasselblad.
you get used to the 6×6 resolution but this is mind boggling.
Its the kind of camera you use to make those giant C prints you see in art galleries, which is what I want to take a crack at.
I also do photo silkscreens and can’t want to try the very high res.
Stand by for report once I figure out what the hell all these buttons do.
