The hands-on travel video training courses will help you shoot, write, edit and produce award-winning travel videos from all over the world – featuring the hotels and restaurants, the landscapes and attractions, the sights, sounds and tastes of travel. And the stories you have shot and reported while on the road could appear on USA TODAY’s Travel site.
From an introductory one-day class to an intensive four-day course, we offer a range of options for every interest level and budget. Each course, offered in either New York City, Los Angeles, or McLean, Va. (USA TODAY headquarters), will be taught by highly experienced trainers with a proven track record and talent for sharing their expertise.
You’ll learn:
• How to shoot broadcast quality video with your home video camera
• How to script and structure a compelling video story
• How to write for video and track your own voice
• How to produce professional quality travel video on your own
• How to upload and share that video with friends, or the world
• How to market your video work

You can either bring your own camera and laptop or we’ll rent them to you. But either way, you’ll not only get great classroom instruction from our team of professionals, but you’ll also go out ‘into the field’ where you’ll actually shoot and cut complete travel videos.
The classes are run by RosenblumTV. They’ve been running professional video bootcamps for more than 20 years, and their clients have run the spectrum from The Travel Channel to the BBC. Some of their graduates have gone on to great careers in the world of professional travel journalism and filmmaking.
