What they don’t teach you in school…
My nephew Adam is looking for a job.
But he’s going to job fairs and trying to schnur work off of friends of his parents.
Big mistake.
But talking to him, it occurs to me that what they don’t teach you in school is how to find the clients.
They’re still out there, even in these difficult economic times.
So here’s a bit of advice on how to go about doing this.
This approach has always worked for me.
Try it. It wouldn’t kill you….

you’re a smart guy, michael. and idea guys aren’t that common. but if one needs work, is one really in a position to barter a week of work for a hotel room in a resort off of kenya? when the guys hiring don’t understand that people are working to buy groceries, and not to kind of fit exotic resorts better into one’s budget, finding the real work is a little tougher.
