Well, here it is at long last.
In the bootcamps we like to say that the technology has now gotten so simple that a monkey could shoot a video.
Apparently that is not hyperbole.
The BBC is about to air the first documentary film shot entirely by… chimps.
Once they learn not to move the camera, it’s all over.
(Of course, we have always said it’s all about the storytelling. So far, so good).
I am, however, envisioning an entirely new market approach for Animal Planet Academy.
Bananas… anyone?
Many thanks to Peter for turning me on to this one.

When you leave Bootcamp you are a little intimidated. The question I asked myself was, “Can I really do this?” “I am I really a VJ a movie maker?” After seeing chimps do it I have to say I am encouraged. Part of the assignment we leave Bootcamp with is to continue to develop our craft. Continue to use the fundamentals you were taught. As we use what we learned and then access NYVS we can then improve upon those skills and go to the next level. Yes we are really VJs just like our cousins who work for peanuts. Maybe some of us work for peanuts to!
